This painting is part of a research project on figurative abstraction, where geometry becomes an emotional language. The face, constructed from arcs and flat areas of colour, oscillates between figuration and deconstruction, suggesting the multiplicity of contemporary identity. The chromatic vivacity, sometimes harmonious, sometimes dissonant, reflects the complexity of inner states. The work questions our relationship to the gaze, the mask and the fragmentation of the self in a world in perpetual motion.
